Everything you need to write about PhantomTech Labs and PhantomVR: facts, boilerplate, founder bio and brand assets.
Please keep the wellness-tool language intact when describing PhantomVR.
PhantomTech Labs is a technology company building products that make everyday life better, starting with the people technology usually leaves out. Its first product, PhantomVR, is an in-development virtual reality app that brings mirror therapy to the amputee community. PhantomVR is a wellness tool, not a medical device.
PhantomTech Labs was founded in 2026 by Dallas Reign, a developer and amputee who wears a prosthetic every day. The company builds technology that makes everyday life better, starting with the people technology usually leaves out. Its first product, PhantomVR, brings mirror therapy, a technique used for decades to explore phantom limb sensations, into virtual reality: users choose their limb and amputation level, and a full-body avatar mirrors their intact side in real time. PhantomVR is built for VR from the ground up, designed to work across the major headsets, and is positioned as a calm wellness tool rather than a clinical one. It is a wellness tool, not a medical device, and PhantomTech Labs does not make treatment claims.
Dallas Reign is the founder of PhantomTech Labs: a developer, left below-knee amputee, adaptive athlete and motivational speaker, and the creator of the Dallas On One social media community. After being hit by a car in April 2024 and losing his leg, he decided to use his amputation as an opportunity to do good in the world. He started PhantomVR from his own experience with mirror therapy and a simple question: what if the mirror could be virtual, full-body, and built for the way amputees actually move? His standard for everything the company makes: build for the people technology usually leaves out, and get it right because you understand the problem from the inside.
“We start with the people that technology usually leaves out.” Dallas Reign, Founder
